A firm alternative to a fabric bath rug
The diatomite material is designed to absorb splash water into its porous surface. The mat has a firm feel. Allow moisture to leave the material between uses; drying depends on water volume, airflow and the surrounding conditions.
Placement and care
Use outside the bath or shower on a flat, fully supported floor with a suitable non-slip underlay. Allow the mat, underlay and floor beneath it to air-dry between uses. Handle carefully and avoid heavy impacts: a rigid mat can chip or crack if dropped.
Follow product-specific care instructions. For a printed finish, contact us before using abrasive cleaning or sanding methods so the design is not damaged.

Absorbs water quickly, and the engraving looks really clean.

I ordered this for friends who had just bought their first house, and it felt much more thoughtful than another candle or bottle of wine. I used their surname rather than mine, so it was made for the Wilsons. They opened it while we were helping them unpack and immediately started deciding which bathroom deserved it. The mat has a nice solid feel, and the rounded corners make it look neat rather than industrial. I chose a neutral colour because I did not know exactly how they planned to decorate. The engraving made the gift feel specific to their new chapter without needing a long message. They later sent me a photo of it beside their shower. I would happily choose this again for another housewarming.

We replaced a thick fabric bath mat that always seemed to stay damp, and this has made our bathroom feel much fresher. Water disappears from the surface quickly after a shower, and I no longer have a soggy rug sitting beside the tub all morning. The stone feels firm underfoot, which took a couple of days to get used to, but I actually prefer it now. I also love how much tidier the room looks without a rumpled fabric mat on the floor. We chose white with our family name, and the lettering is clear without looking overly decorative. The included mesh underlay was easy to place underneath. For our everyday routine, this has been a really satisfying upgrade.

This was one of the last things we bought after moving into our first home together, and somehow it feels more personal than several much bigger purchases. We had The Hughes Family engraved on it, with a little welcome phrase underneath. It is a small detail, but seeing it every morning makes the place feel properly ours. Friends using the guest bathroom have noticed it straight away and asked where we found it. I was worried the personalisation might look a bit loud, but the grey lettering is understated and suits the room. It also works well as an actual bath mat, taking up splashes without leaving a damp fabric rug behind. A lovely finishing touch to a home we have worked hard to make our own.

Our bathroom is tiny, so anything on the floor becomes a big part of how the whole room looks. The blush pink mat is a lovely soft colour and makes the space feel more pulled together. I picked a simple leaf design with Olivia in the corner, and it looks personal without overwhelming the room. What I appreciate most is that the flat surface stays looking tidy between showers. Our old fabric mat would bunch up and collect hair around the edges. This one is easy to lift when I clean the tiles underneath, and light splashes absorb quickly. It is a hard surface, so the feeling is different from a fluffy rug, but that trade-off suits me. Pretty, practical, and a good fit for our little bathroom.

Added our wedding date. Makes an everyday item feel special.

I bought the matching set as an anniversary present for my wife and had our surname and wedding date engraved on the mat. We tend to choose useful gifts, so this felt like a nice way to make something practical carry a little more meaning. The date is easy to read, and the two matching coasters make the set feel considered without being overdone. We have put the mat outside our ensuite shower, where it picks up the usual splashes quickly. I am giving four stars because delivery took longer than I expected, and it arrived after our anniversary. The product itself was well protected and arrived intact. We are both pleased with it, but I would order earlier next time if it were for a particular occasion.
